Hardware maintenance engineer

Job description:

• Responsible for the daily maintenance of servers, storage devices and databases (including information IT equipment, etc.), and for the inspection of equipment performance, operating status (e.g. load), hard disk space, etc.;
• Handle problems and failures in servers, storage devices and databases to ensure the normal operation of IT equipment and business systems in the computer room;
• Provide servers, storage and other hardware platforms and system software according to customers’ business and technical needs;
• Handle major failures;
• Responsible for the related needs of server content serving important customers;
• Responsible for the quality analysis of the computer room site and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting various hidden dangers and problems, proposing solutions and implementing modifications;
• Responsible for server hardware system maintenance, storage system maintenance, emergency response upon discovery of abnormalities, troubleshooting and resolution;
• Responsible for regularly checking server software and hardware, handling various errors that occur during operation, and making detailed records of major and minor faults;
• Monitor and maintain equipment such as computer room servers, respond promptly to on-site faults, and conduct fault analysis, troubleshooting and repair;

Qualifications:

• Educational background: College degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Electronic Information and other related fields;
• Work experience: More than 5 years of work experience in computer rooms, servers or storage, or those working for original client units are preferred;
• Familiar with mainstream Windows, Linux and other server system installation methods and related security settings, and have the ability to independently judge, handle, and quickly recover basic server exceptions;Familiar with various AD domain controls;Familiar with Exchange server; knowledgeable about databases and familiar with basic backup and export functions;Understand the maintenance related to mainstream servers in the market, such as HP, DELL, and Inspur servers.
• Have good communication and coordination skills and service awareness, have team spirit, be able to endure hardships and stand hard work, be good at communication, have good professional ethics, have a strong sense of confidentiality, work proactively and conscientiously, and be able to obey work arrangements and job requirements.
• Proficient in server monitoring and log analysis, and familiar with IDC computer room operating procedures and specifications;
• Able to accept business trips to various places (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, etc.);
